These are exact copies of the original doors that were beyond economic repair.
Manufactured from Accoya for the frame and 15mm Marine plywood as panels, the original panels were 150mm x21mm boards that had split and opened up .
The doors are in an exposed position in relation to the sun. I recommended that a light colour was used rather than a dark stain which the customer applied -dark colours in full sun will only cause the timber to split and shrink as it absorbs the heat.
