Skirting boards: a lesson for us all

This customer had new french doors fited by a national company. After many months and the involvement of trading standards the job was finally put right. A lesson for us all -use a local contactable tradesman rather than a national franchised chain who sub contract out the ‘lead’ to the lowest bidder.

Even after all of that the skirting was not finished apparently the contractor took a piece and said he would be back after going to the supplier that was 2 years ago. So a very small job. I machined the skirting on site out of off cuts from a previous job. There was a little ‘jiggery pokery ‘ with one of the pieces as it had to return over the step.

Result one happy customer.
